So i finally got out of the house on Friday to see a movie. I've not seen a movie since Paige was born (about a year and a half ago). Will dragged my ass out to see the Dark Knight, and I've gotta say this... If i only got out of the house to see movies THIS GOOD. It would probably be a long damn time before i got out again.
I don't write well enough to do this movie justice. Just go out and see it (again if you've already seen it)

I don't know if I'm over Metallica being a bunch of fuckin morons. The only way I think I can get back into them is by listening to OLD shit. So i gotta sart with Master of Puppets and Ride the Lightning. I'm just waiting to see what Aaron says about their performance in Ireland. Tenacious D is opening, and I have this feeling that half of Jack Black's performance will be about making fun of Metallica.

Saturday we helped David move into his apartment in Arcadia. We're only 15 minutes away, so that is SO much better than him being out in San Dimas (highschoolrulez). anyway...
Then we had our first BBQ of the weekend with Anne, Darren, Alex, Lindsay, Keith, Chris, Christina & Allissa. It was a great time to have everybody together and let the kids just run around the back yard. Paige took a late nap that day, and was grumpy for a long time when everybody showed up. Eventually she warmed up and ran around the backyard playing with everybody.
Then sunday we headed over to the Richarson's in gelndale for a little get together. I hadn't seen Jack in about 10 years, so that was a good to see him and catch up.
Then we headed back to relax for a little while before BBQ #2. I had asked Pat if i could cook him dinner and ask him some questions about his flash (and math) artwork. He and his wife came over and hung out in the backyard while Pat and I talked geek. So now I understand some of what he's doing to make his particle systems. Now to reverse engineer the concepts and build my own :)
