I have nothing to say at this point other than this...
I am now a part of the blogrollers web ring.

Time to catch up
The holidays where a blur as always. I don't even know if i can remember everything. SO let's recap what i've done since i stopped bloggin a few
weeks ago.
First, the little client finally got ahold of me and FINALLY PAID ME. Just in time for XMAS. Thanks.
My 10 year high school reunion was a few days back, just before xmas. I heard about it, but never got an invite. So Jen and I were gonna crash it.
We went to dinner at a place right next door and took a look from there. Everybody was VERY VERY VERY over dresses. I was in Jeans and a tshirt,
so i decided to bail on it. Brian Chang took some pictures. I didn't really have much to talk about with the people there. I doubt many of them
would have remembered me.
Dennis and Andrea had a little party to show off their house. GOD DAMN!!! They did a unfuckinebelievable job on it. It does not look like the same
place the Dennis grew up in. It's a brand new house literally.
Ok, then for the normal part of XMAS. My family usually gets in a fight about who's going where for XMAS so i thought i would just piss everybody off
this year and ask to go to the Lakers Game. My mom says NO!, Jen says NO!, but i keep workin on em. Finally Jen's dad gets 4 tickets for the
XMAS day game against the Kings. So Christmas eve we spend at my Parents house. My mom almost kills herself cooking the best food i could
imagine. And you're expecting turkey etc. Nope. All mexican food. She drove down to east la in the morning and waited 2 hours in a line to get
tamales. so we all hang out there and drink way too much. Steve and vera were there with all three of vera's kids (justin, jenna, and johnathan)
Brian (from down the street) showed up with his wife. all in all it was a great night. (we finished a bottle of tequila that Will had given me a year
before)
Jen and i drove home that night and crashed hard. Then we got up XMAS morning to go to Jen's parents house for breakfast and to hang
out. Jen's parents have just rebuilt half of their house and it's ALL kitchen. So when i get there Jen's Dad has every item of breakfast cooking on
the stove ALL AT ONCE. fuckin huge stove. We hang out there for a few hours and open presents etc. Then Carry comes over from across the street
and we see them for awhile. After we're all done there we go back to my parents house to do the presents thing all over again. We hang out there
for a while to just relax, then run back to Jen's parents house to pick up Jens brother. We drive back to our house just in time to have Will pulling up
in front. Then off to the Lakers at the Staples Center. Well it was a depressing game. The Lakers had the game going ok until the 4th, then they
just fell apart. It was still a packed game. And a lot of fun to be there.
After the game we came back and went to Vera's house for her XMAS party. Things were still going on there to the wee hours of the night.
Ok, then i finally got some sleep for a few days.
Jen's dad got us more tickets for the lakers on the 29th. They played the raptors this time and finally had a real blow out score. Jen and I invited
Steve and Vera this time, but when Vera couldn't come, steve pulled Rich Monson.
So that was a real fun game to watch. Not quite as packed at the Kings game, but still it was a lot of fun.
ok, a few more days of sleep
Then new years. We all went over to Will's house to hang out with a view of LA. Jen and I cooked all day long (well i did help this time) and made
two chicken caserols that we took up there. it was a fun night for everybody to just sit around. Jen and i cut out right after midnight cause we had to
drag our asses out of bed in the morning to see the fuckin parade. (jen's brother was in it AGAIN). Hilight of that was seeing the stealth bomber
and two f117's. Then seeing David march by with the Arcadia high school band. As always we went to the Sclancers after the parade and had to
partake of the famous chili. Then back to sleep.
We didn't do much until Saturday. Jen decided that we needed to go to the beach. So that's what we did. We went down and parked on balboa
island and then walked all the way to the ferry, took it over to the peninsula and then walked out on the pier. On the ferry trip back Jen said that she
thought she has seen Suzi Stebbins. (unknowingly, Jen had not seen my PARENTS sitting right next to Suzi on the ferry going the other way) So
then we headed south to crecent beach cove and hung out there for sunset. Then further south to dana point to go to dinner at Cannon's
overlooking the harbor.
That brings us to yesterday. We got up and cleaned the house, took down the xmas tree and just caught uo on shit we needed to do. Then Will
came over at about 4 with all his new toys for his computer. He left at about 2 AM after i had installed a new CDR and Hard Drive and installed OS X
and then pulled one video board and installed another. Oh, and i had to do the OS install 3 times to get the fuckin thing right. YAWN. that was
long. I gots pictures of it all. And i'll post em all in the next entry.

Monday January 6th 2003 01:24 PM PST
BTW i need a job. So, if you're lookin for somebody who can do shockwave games and flash PLEASE contact me. I'm really really bored, and i need
to have something to keep me busy.
Monday January 6th 2003 03:25 PM PST
Ok, it seems like i can't stop bloggin today. My landlords never seem to let me in on anything. I am a little out to lunch for about 20 minutes and i walk out into my kitchen and suddenly i have no fence between my front patio and the neighbors back patio. I have no idea what they are plannin to do, but there it a blue tarp there.

Apple RULES!!!
If you don't agree, then just skip this entry. You're just gonna get pissed.
Another keynote has been made, and Apple has released a whole pile of new products. On the software end they released Safari, their new bowser,
Keynote, which is EXACLY like powerpoint (BUT WILL RUN ON A MAC), Ilife, which is the combination of all the digital life tools (itune, imovie, iphoto,
iDVD), and then finally Final Cut Express. The hardware releases focused on the Powerbooks. They now have 3 sizes 12, 15 and 17 inch. So now
literally they have the largest and the smallest laptops in production. The other really notable hardware release was the airport extreme. 54Mbps!!!
That's gonna chnage WiFi in a whole new way. The other hardware development is just a normal upgrade to all its great products. The G4's all come
with Dual Processors and have jumped up to dual 1.25GHz. DAMN!!! Ok, enough, i gotta go download all the new software and start playing with it.
Go Visit Apple
Tuesday January 7th 2003 12:32 PM PST
And just if you're in the area tonight. The grand opening of the
Pasadena Apple Store is tonight at 6PM. I won't have to drive to Glendale anymore. It will only be a mile away!!
Tuesday January 7th 2003 04:49 PM PST
I have a lot of picts that i didn't post from XMAS. This is just one of them.

Johnathan, Jenna, and Steve
Tuesday January 7th 2003 09:53 PM PST
So i went up ot old town pasadena tonight to go check out the Apple Store. GAWD DAMN! There was a line for the entire block to get in. There
must have been over 1000 people waiting in line to get in. Fuck that! I'll go tomorrow when it opens.
Wednesday January 8th 2003 11:52 AM PST
Ok, most people i have talked to have already seen this, but just in case you have not.
The New Powerbooks There's a great little part in it with BT.
Wednesday January 8th 2003 12:58 PM PST
Ok, i'm taking the dive. I've heard the horror stories from Brian, and I've heard nothing but good things from Jason and Koga. So... Here goes
nothing.
BTW - The pasadena Apple store is beautiful. Well ALL of them are. I just like the fact that every single one of them has the exact same product
layout. You can find anything you need. I talked to the guy working there. He said that the opening last night had over 2000 people at it. The
1000 free t-shirts were gone within the first hour. They really had to struggle to get the place closed at 10, and then they still had a lot of people
just hanging out after they had closed the doors.
Wednesday January 8th 2003 02:19 PM PST
This fuckin RAWKS!!! I can tell there is a speed increase on the screen redraw right off the bat. I've gotta spend some time looking at
everything they have changed, but i have to say it's looking good so far. I just have to bitch a little about them switching the key
commands to "go home" "go to applications" etc. But you know, i'll get over it. Using Ichat now. Jason says it's looks like a little kids
AIM, well, maybe. But i like it. It's small and smooth and FAST. So far everything looks great. The only thing i am pissed about really
bad is the fact that it booted my old httpd.conf file. But what can you expect. Apache had to be reinstalled with the OS, so there ya go.
Well, back to the fun.

I can't tell if this is a joke, or if these guys are serious.
You Decide. I just can't believe that Trek Fans would take this much time to make an episode. And the set building alone is great. They took a lot of time to do the full old school built out of the starship while making sure not to step on any legal toes with Paramount. Take note of the comm badges. They won't get in a law suit over them.
Thursday January 9th 2003 02:01 PM PST
If you don't have a name that's hard to pronounce, then you'll not know what i'm talking about here. I just love it when you walk into a supermarket now and use your ATM card. It seems that its standard operating proceedure that the "checker" now will pass you your reciept and say "Thanks for shopping at (insert supermarket chain name here) [Mr, Mrs, or Miss] (insert your name here)". Well with my name its always funny to just listen. I just wonder if there is a threshold where they see a name and they don't even make the attempt. That has just got to be a loaded gun waiting to go off. You get some pissed of housewife whos PMSing (and i know i'm gonna get comments about that, but isn't it true?) and the checker, after being dragged over the coals, says, "Would you like any help out with that?"... and then it comes. The quick glance down to the little receipt... "thanks for shopping..." I can just imagine that pushing some housewife over the edge. Fuck i used to bag groceries. The really stupid shit is always what pushes people over the edge. You bag their canned cream soda with a box of dish washer soap and they FREAK OUT. (Even that's what you were taught in the little 5 minute training video... Canned or Bottled goods are a good combination for packing with Soaps and Cleaners, while you don't want to put fresh meats with soap.) Ok, well i've gotten off track here. I think the most fun i have is when Jen is at the store with me. The guy butchers "Riegler" and i'm half way out the door while Jen will take the time to correct him. :)
Friday January 10th 2003 11:17 AM PST
Ok, this one is from Slashdot. The
Bar Monkey! Hmmm this looks like a project that i could do in my spare time. I gave up on the "lifter" cause countless people said i would end up killing myself by electrocution. This one... what's the worst that can happen? I might get drunk.
"Uses 16 windshield washer pumps run by a 12V adaptor. Pumps are connected in parallel and run sequentially by the program. "
"Dispenses an 8 oz. mixed drink in less than 10 seconds. "
The only problem that i have with this thing is that it looks like something that was built in a college dormroom. (Well, it was! DUH) I bet i could make one that's better. :)
Sunday January 12th 2003 05:30 PM PST
i have a little job to do this weekend. It's a HUGE sweepstakes project where i have to build a script that will properly pick the winners from a HUGE database. SO the question i've been asking is HOW did i agree to doing this project for close to nothing? I'm not really pissed about the money, i'm just glad that i've ended up learning A WHOLE SHITLOAD about mysql, sql, shel scripting and php. I've spent way too much time on this project, but i just made a breakthrough. Originally my approach was to build a "lookup" table that would contain all the users and their number of entries. Then from that i could get the total number of entries, and pick a random number. Then with the lookup table i could see which user belonged to that "entry". Well let's just say that this is the pure brut force method of doing this. There ends up being about 24,000 registered users and about 33,000 records of entries. These two tables end up making a total of 28,382,750 entries. So the brut force method starts to fall apart. So i've been thinking about the math solution for the problem all weekend. Last night as a few guests arrived, i stumbled across a simple little SQL option called SUM. Well i have learned mySQL from just using is and by the guidance of Jason, but i had never seen this before. I have to say that i feel stupid admiting that, but it's true. So this little command would allow me to total the number of entires a user has just by saying
SELECT SUM(Entires) FROM 'EntryDatabase' WHERE UserName = 'riggs'
OMFG! I was on cloud9. So now i could take a needless repeat loop out of a HUGE script that i was building to make the lookup table. (just a note: i think i just lost all the non-geeks) SO now my brut force method would be a little faster. Now i can make the lookup table in just under 2 hours and then i'll be ready to pick the winners. The table has been building for just over an hour now. And i've just come to the conclusion that i was STUPID. Not only do i not have to build the lookup table, i can find everthing i need to know with a very very very simple set of functions. Like above i can do a SUM on the entries, but this time use a slight variation.
SELECT SUM(Entires) FROM 'EntryDatabase' WHERE UserNumber < 12000
This would end up telling me how many entries were submitted by users 1 through 11999. So if you've read this far you might as well stick around for the ending. So there are 28 million entries in the sweepstakes. I need to pick a winner. So pick a number between 1 and 28 million. then start calling the statement above with different numbers of users. Lets say your random number pick was 12million. You'd then call:
SELECT SUM(Entires) FROM 'EntryDatabase' WHERE UserNumber < 12000
if it was HIGHER than 12million you'd pick a number lower than 12000, lets say cut it in half. so
SELECT SUM(Entires) FROM 'EntryDatabase' WHERE UserNumber < 6000
and so on and so on.
What you find in the end is that you can determine the winner in under 25 calls EVERY time. That's because 2 to the 24 is just over 16million and 2 to 25 is over 33Million. You can divide 28 million in a half only 24 times before you get below a whole number. Ok, enough geek for today. I just had to write it cause Jen was getting sick of hearing it.
Wednesday January 15th 2003 04:57 PM PST
So the Hermits Lunch today was great. I have not had really really good indian food in a long time and it was a nice change. Then while
we were sitting at lunch it came up how OS X has burned Brian so bad. He can't get 10.2 to install at all it just stalls on the restart. So i
am only a few miles away at this point (already in Marina del Rey) so i offer to come over to fix the computer in exchange for some fine
beer. I drive Simon back over to Brian and Wendy's, where he's parked and he runs back to work. I then dive into OS X install world
AGAIN. So this one was not bad at all. I hit all the same things that Brian has in the past and he was very relieved. I admit the worst
thing to happen when you get somebody to help you is, They have NONE of the problems that you do and it's a snap. So brian and I start to
drink. Wendy starts to get me VERY depressed cause she shows me all of her digital cameras. VERY NICE. I wish i had $3000 sitting
around to buy the nikon. Anyway. The install just seems to be hanging somewhere in the bios startup, so i figure it's having toruble with
some piece of hardware. I pull the plug on everything, so i only have a monitor and the keyboard plugged in. no go. So... only one more
thing i can pull. Wendy's got two monitor boards, and maybe one of em is screwing things up on startup. So out it comes, and Boom. The
thing starts up. Drinking begins again. (about an hour passes) and we get all the install done and all the upgrades and all the fun stuff.
Well by this time it's about 3:30 and i make my leave. Traffic is so fun in Los Angeles. I'ts about 4:45 by the time i get home. Well back
to work. Jason is Aiming me talking about his new toy. nice little tmoblie phone.

Will hates two kinds of movies (well there might be more than two kinds, but that's not the issue) One kind is any foreign feature
animation, and the other is the skate movie. So when i heard Fincher might direct the story of the Zepher boys i knew Will must not be
thrilled.
Here's the article I don't know if they should
really make this movie though. Its gonna be hard to recreate POP and dogtown. I guess i'm just gonna be critical of the sets in the movie
because i've become so fascinated with old Los Angeles historical photos and places. Well if any director can pull off the look and feel of a
dirty and destroyed dogtown it's gonna be Fincher. I'm just thinking about the paper street house with old school los angeles grafitti all over
it. Well lets hope this does happen.
Thursday January 16th 2003 12:20 PM PST
Can i just say one thing...
DUH This is the only thing that i ever needed to go out and buy a XBOX. Well this and a job. But i think i've got the job, so now for
the xbox.
... and cable.
Friday January 17th 2003 10:31 PM PST
Jen and I have been going out for 10 years tonight. We went on our first data to Mijaries and tried to go see a movie. Its a long story, and
most of the people close to us already know it so i won't bore you here with it. Anyway, to make a long story short, we went out tonight ot
celebrate and we both got really drunk. Jen is already in bed as usual, and i'm up playing around on the computer. Well here's to 10 more
years.
I might as well go over the day while i'm here. Hmmmm i did NOTHING. Well i did play a little GTA VICE and screw around with C on
OSX, but other than that nothing. I think the only thing i did today that was worth anything was hooking up my alpine amp to my two
kenwood speakers. So now instead of a little amp powering two of my 4 speakers, i now have all 4 speakers powered by the alpine. AND
all of this right out of my mixing board. i think the girl in the front unit is a little pissed. She likes a lot og blink 182 and shitty
overproduced poppunk. So i made her a little mad while i was playing Brian's halloween mix. BTW while i'm on the drunk rant here, Brian,
what are the tracks off that disc. Could i get a full track listing? I know about half of the songs, but there are a few there that just fuckin
rawk and i have no idea what they are. Well i think i'm gonna go shoot some more shit in GTA vice before i go to sleep. Oh.... Lakers
game tonight really sucked. They could have had it a couple times, but they just let it go. Well hopefully they will beat the Clippers on
monday. I hate going to games they lose.
Sunday January 19th 2003 01:29 PM PST
Thanks to Jason for finding this one.
Johnny Cash covering
"HURT". While i was watching this, Jen was in the other room listening. She yells, "Who the fuck is that singing?" Well lets just say
she has no idea who Johnny Cash is, so my response didn't mean anything. After watchin i was thinking about other old entertainers that
might also cover this song if they had the chance. I don't know, but Elvis comes to mind.
Sunday January 19th 2003 03:12 PM PST
i've been doing a little house cleaning today. The web site is a little larger and a little easier to read. I just needed to get a few things in order. One of them is the new webcam image. i used to upload an image every 45 seconds no matter what. It was not that bad, but the bandwidth was being charged to
Jason so i pulled it down. Now that i have an OS X box running here as a dedicated web server i figure i might as well use the bandwidth here for something stupid. Nice thing now also is that i can control when the image is updated with a little remote control. So there should be no more shots of me picking my nose or smelling the little 'grey thing'.
Sunday January 19th 2003 03:26 PM PST
I was looking up the spelling of trebuchet. As i usually do i'll just enter it in google and hit search and it will ask me. Did you mean... ? But
the great part about this is the fact that you'll get related links while you're checking your spelling. And if i didn't do things this way i would
never have come across
http://www.BackyardArtillery.com/ and
http://www.trebuchet.com/

Monday January 20th 2003 06:25 PM PST
Just finished a little editing now so that nobody is disturbed by my blog. Well all clean. Now we can go back to thinking that everything is
just fine.
Tuesday January 21st 2003 12:13 AM PST
So i turned a generally shitty day into something good. Everything fell apart today so i just dug myself into some code and tried to hide
from everything. So i really started to dig into GBA development on OS X. Yes i know i've had the flash writer for over a year now and i've
done nothing with it. Well i've built my first little twitch game and i've got a few ideas. I'm still looking for a good image converter for mac.
Its just pissing me off that i gotta throw all my images through my windows box to do anything with em. Not a real pain in the ass, but
there's gotta be a better way. I'll have a few demos of my own up soon. I think i'm just going to stick to really easy at this point. I might
recreate one of the Tomb Raider Puzzles for GBA. I've already got all the math done, all i'd have to do now is do artwork and syntax
translation. I think it's gonna be TR puzzle #3.

that will give me something to shoot for.
Tuesday January 21st 2003 03:21 PM PST
Another great day in my life. I have to tell you, there is nothing better than having a family member show up uninvited and just sit and tell
you everything that's wrong with you. I just sat here in my own home listening to my own father tell me how fucked up i am. I got the
message dad. Too bad you can't fuckin read this (YOU'RE IP BANNED). :)
Maybe i'll put the full story back in here one of these days. Until then you'll just have to talk to me face to face if you wanna know all the
details of what's going on. (That's because i've already been told off once by my family for writing shit here)
Tuesday January 21st 2003 03:31 PM PST
FUCKIN AMAZING!!! It doesn't take him 30 minutes! I say DONT CALL, and the minute he gets home... HE CALLS.

Ah hermits lunch. mmmmm good. I had not been down to the firehouse in venice in a long long time. Brian and I used to work a block or
so away when Hollywood Online first started out. Actually Brian, Ted, Jim and I. We're all old HOL deadbeats. but anyway it was a really
cloudy day out there. Food was good, then we went back to Brian and Wendy's and walked around on the boardwalk for a while.
Jon Simon was the nonHermit visitor for the day. Brian and Wendy also
made me an offer i could not refuse on a excersice bike. $50 + a little tech support that's already complete. Good Deal. I'll pay up on friday
when i drag myself out there again to go to Finn's.
Wednesday January 22nd 2003 06:40 PM PST

Go to altavista and use the translate tool. Type in something stupid like...
i'd like a bag of popcorn and 1 large soda
then translate from english to something (in this case italian), then copy paste the result and translate back to english.
RESULT:
of I would appreciate a bag large popcorn and 1 hard one ?
?
LOL - i saw somebody doing this on www.lowbrow.com

This Bug is really really really really BAD.
But the account of it is
really damn funny.
Friday January 24th 2003 04:02 PM PST
Jason RAWKS as usual. I have been trying for the longest time to get multiple page documents to be created from php or something along
those lines. I need a system by which
Epic Sports can print one or many of
their incoming orders from the shopping cart system i built for them. I screwed around with standard html and forced page breaks, but
there (as always) are no standards between browsers and platforms. What comes out layed out right on IE on windows gets fucked in IE on
Mac. etc etc etc. So then i screwed around with Director or Flash doing the layout. Both of them can print from the browser, but again,
there are certain combinations of browsers and platforms that will not work. And more than anything i had trouble laying out a multi page
document. So the answer really lies in (and i knew this all along) PDF. But what stopped me from going this direction is i thought ALL pdf
modules you had to pay a fee to adobe to use their tech. That and the fact that i would have to have webair install another lib to my virt
host. I would have to make sure this is the direction i wanted to go before i asked them to do this work.... So i would have to install it here
and try it out. That scared me. I have very little experience doing the things that come naturally to most of my geek buddies. So i decided
to run away like the sissy boy that i am. So where does that leave me. Well with no solution. Until i asked Jason. Like always he had the
answer in under 60 seconds. He found a little class.pdf file that lets you build pdf files on the fly directly in php with no hassle at all.
GAWD DAMN THIS STUFF IS COOL. And it's gonna do the job RIGHT.
Saturday January 25th 2003 04:32 PM PST
Its been a really long time since i went off on a rant about Flash. Well the time has come again. Lets just get this out in the fuckin open.
Flash MX is the 6th major release of Future Splash which is now called FLASH. Well, after 6 versions it should not SUCK this fuckin bad. I
mean come on Macromedia, you're not this fuckin stupid. Or are you? Ok, lets begin... first of all add behaivors! I would really like to have
10 instances of different items that ALL USE the SAME CODE. Why the fuckin do i have to replicate the code for each one? Its not like you
don't already do this in Director. And dont tell me this shit about attachmovie and that bullshit. If i wanted to jump through some more
hoops i'd be using something made by Microsoft. Second FIND AND REPLACE. Its not fuckin HARD AT ALL. This interface needs to be torn
a new asshold. I'd like to find and replace items in ALL THE SCRIPTS in the move or just in ONE SCRIPT. Not HARD. Just give me the
fuckin option. I don't have the time to go through 50 fuckin scripts doing the find and replace 50 times. AND when then find is complete,
why would you want to open another dialog box saying "We've done the job" with an OK button. Just change some text in the find dialog
saying the same thing, WITHOUT the added step of hitting OK. Also let me leave the find and replace OPEN. It should be a floating palette
item NOT a dialog. These are not hard things to fix. At least with the Find and Replace interface i'm not talking about changing the way
flash works at all, just the interface. Ok, enough for now. I'm sure there's gonna be A LOT MORE i find to bitch about over the weekend.
Sunday January 26th 2003 12:52 AM PST

Ok, there was just something about this gif that made me start to laugh. I don't know, maybe i just had to much to drink.
Monday January 27th 2003 02:41 PM PST
Ok, i don't know about everybody else out there, but i can get Flash to crash just by breathing on it wrong. I expect it now from this
program. You save every 30 seconds and you backup every 5 minutes (just in case that during a crash Flash doesn't trash the file as it goes
down in flames). So I guess it's about time that the OS's started with the entire protected memory thing. Well i would like to thank Apple
for this. I can't thank Microsoft, cause i don't even bother upgrading my windows box anymore. No XP yet, but I can tell you that i can
actually work now. Flash crashes... in 5 seconds i can have it running again. It's like an old car that you've been driving forever. You don't
turn on the heater cause you know it's gonna stall the car. Macromedia, it's time to fix the car.

Try this one yourself. It's so simple. Open FLASH MX on MAX OS X. Ok, that part might be hard :) Once it's open, open another
Application, lets say browse to a web page in any browser you like. Ok, now you should have a open Flash window and an open browser
window. Click back to Flash and click on the top of any palette you'd like. I usually click on the top of the Acitons pallette. That window is
now the focus of the program. Now move back to your browser by clicking at the top of the window you left open. Now that window is
Focused. NOW, click the title bar of the open Flash document. You might notice that now Flash is the Application in FOCUS, but the
browser window will be in FRONT of the open document you have in Flash. When you clicked back to Flash it fails to bring your document's
layer to the front. It's focused, you can even close it by hitting command-W, but it's behind a bunch of other shit. LOL More and more to
come.

While i'm in the mood for rants, i'll just say this. GWEN FUCKIN SUCKS. Sorry, but she fucked up Moby's southside IMO, and yesterday singing with STING!?!?!? WTF was that? She CAN'T SING!! DUH, don't have her sing with people that CAN SING! It fucks up the good person's performance. And on top of that it is a disgrace to the Police.

Hmmm good
hermits lunch. I am really sad that Brian and Wendy did not break their diet. There are so many great things to eat at Carmine's. I feel bad also for drinking a HUGE fosters in front of Brian. :) Anyway, back to work. It was good to get out of the house, even if it only was for an hour.

Jason has a point here.
This is the most stupid thing i have ever heard of. In a nutshell they Roman Catholic Curch wants to "appoint" a patron saint of the Internet. I thought religious people had better things to do.
The internet is no more evil than the rest of the world.
If you were unaware of how evil the world is...
PULL YOUR HEAD OUT OF YOUR ASS.
If you want protection from the internet.
DONT USE IT.
A patron saint it not going to make it any safer.
It will only provide a loophole for the Catholic Church to say
that THEY are doing something to make the internet a safer place.
Saying that the Catholic Church makes the internet a safer place
is like saying they make the WORLD a safer place.
if you actually believe this, then you might want to see the advice above.

Today Jen is really sick. I started off the day by taking her to the doctor to have him tell us what we already know. She's got strep throat. It's the 3rd time in a short time, and it's all cause she teaches a little germ farm called 1st grade. So there was a little outbreak of the plague in her classroom a few weeks ago, and if you know the basic amount of time it takes a infection to show signs of sickness, bingo. Jen came down with it like clockwork. So now she's on antibiotics and codeine. It was fun to watch the doctor take the sample for the culture. Steve-O would have loved to see Jen's gag reflex in action. The doc sticks a little qtip in the back of Jen's throat, and her tounge (which was already sticking out) suddenly stuck out a whole lot more and she made a really cool noise. LOL. So she can't eat anything except soft food, so while were getting her perscription at the store, we got a lot of Jello. Jen actually asked me if i can make Jello. I looked at her funny. Well I MADE JELLO. The thing is we don't have any real small bowls that i usually see people make Jello in. Jen says make it in ONE big bowl and then you scoop out what you want. That's fucked. You need serving sized portions! So we got an ASSLOAD of margarita glasses for wedding gifts, they will work great. So i think i'm gonna go eat some Jello now. We've got enough for a small army.
