Friday night i started to feel it. and I knew it was coming because Jen had already gotten sick. So Saturday i hit 103.7 and immediately started controlling the fever as best i could. All weekend i fought it out, and then finally Monday it seemed like it was over. But then at the end of the day the temp popped back to 102. So it was stay in bed and wait it out. So all in all, i spent 4 days without leaving the house, and really didn't get anything done except catch up on a lot of complaining.

So we ended up running around like crazy starting late last week. We ended up going to dinner Thursday and Friday with Jen's family. Thursday it was Bizu after the rehearsal. All of Valerie's family was there for this one. Then Friday we had dinner with Roger and Shelly at Maison Akira. Then finally Saturday we got time to relax. We sat around and got random stuff done, and then cooked dinner.

Then Sunday.

Roger and Shelly came over to see the house and we headed down Honolulu to grab some lunch. Black Cow had an HOUR wait, but then what do you expect with the farmer's market there. So Star Cafe was the place we ended up.

After lunch we got ready for the wedding. Jen and I picked up her brother and then headed to the church. We were there an hour beforehand, and everybody started showing up early. No drama for the service. Everything went smoothly and it turned out to be prefect. Then off to the reception at the Ritz-Carlton Huntington Hotel. Bob had gotten one of the OLD original ballrooms for the party. Hands down, i think its one of the nicest rooms in the old part of the hotel. Honestly it was one of the most relaxed receptions that I've been to in a long while. Everyone had a great time.

A couple weeks ago, the company announced that it was no longer going to charge for Sodas. The entire time I'd been with the company, there had been a soda machine, and everything was priced at 25 cents. It was nice and simple. The machine was stocked with drinks, and the company subsidized the cost. So they did some profitability number crunching, and found that it would be just as cost effective if they brought a refrigerator, and stocked it with drinks, and made all of them available for free.

What I've found now is that their numbers may have involved the elimination of certain drinks.

I'm under the suspicion now that with them elimination of Mountain Dew from the list of drinks they've decreased the consumption DRASTICALLY. Thus cutting costs.

So it leaves me screwed, and a little pissed off. I don't drink coffee, and have no real alternative now but to drink crap that i don't like, or just stock my own fridge with my own purchases. Well until i get around to dragging a fridge in to put under my desk, i'm going to have to figure out how to get through the afternoons. The last couple days, i've been almost falling asleep. Well, maybe the profitability data analysis should have taken into consideration people being ASLEEP.

So the long awaited update to WOW is now up. I've already downloaded the patch and am waiting for the realms to come back up. But just reading their changes list, its fucking amazing how many things they've done. The simple flightpath fix is amazing. If you've got the flightpath all the way across a continent you no longer have to do the stop over. And i've gotta figure out how to spend my talent points again for my priest. They've changed the entire skill tree, so i've gotta plan my points. Anyway... off to work.

Everything has been moving so fast in my life recently. I've missed blogging on a number of subjects, and i've flaked out on so many other things in my life. I don't know how long i can sustain this, but i've decided to push harder in all the crap i'm doing right now. Over the last 6 months i've caught up on all the loose ends. I've taken care of all the garbage hanging over my head. Now its time to push ahead. I think i'm in a good place now where i can really make a change in everything overall.

I sound too positive don't I?

Maybe its cause I've already got Friday clear and I'm seeing NIN with Will.

Strange that Trent Reznor somehow is making me feel good about life.

time for another road trip. Will and I don't have as far to go this time. Only out to Casino Morongo on the way to Palm Springs.

But for a fan-club only show, its worth the drive.
