SO... started with the Submarines. She didn't like that too much. Especially with the exploding mines and sirens, shaking and everything.
Then Snow White which we totally knew was a bad idea before we got on the ride. Sure enough, she didn't like it.
Then Pinocchio... duh, bad idea too.
Then the Grand Carousel, cause c'mon that's gotta be fun. Nope. Didn't like it all that much, and only tried to escape once.
Ok, so now we're just plain evil. Pirates of the Caribbean. Dark drop and skeletons everywhere with explosions fire and general all around fun. Nope. didn't like it.
Cassey Jr. Ok, now we're good. Out in the open, fun little houses and castles to look at. Finally a ride that she really liked.
So then the one ride that Jen and I had not been on. Pooh. We've always been bitter that they ripped out the Bear Country Jamboree, but we had to try it out. All i can say is they stuck to the general "dark-scary-ride" model and made anther ride that borders on an LSD flashback. Pooh's dream is a black light nightmare of Honey. Couldn't get a good read on Paige on this one. She didn't try to escape, so it wasn't bad.
Now we all knew Peter Pan and Dumbo were going to be nightmarish long waits. But we took the dive and waited for Peter Pan. It broke down while we were in line and added another 15 minutes wait. So after an hour we finally woke Paige up after a line Nap and popped her into the flying ship. We'll again she didn't try to escape, but the dark and flying seemed to not agree with her.
Finally a word about Disneyland crowds. When you think going on a Monday is going to avoid crowds, you better check WHICH monday you're going on. The park felt like it was filled to capacity. Well it almost was. Coming up to Thanksgiving, the park gets really packed. There are about 20 different lists of park attendance, most of which simply judge how many people are in the park by how long the lines are. Yesterday was packed. Fun nonetheless, but NEXT week is one of the slowest of the year. We chose unwisely.
