I just thought of something. What i'm tring to do is not unlike OCR at all. Optical Character Recognition really just looks at patterns of a digital image and then tries to make matches. I'm just trying to recreate a color image instead of a page of text. I'm gonna go do some research on OCR and see what i dig up.
