in my depressed mode last night i forced myself to code. I set myself on one goal and tried to finish a entire shockwave module. Brian and Wendy had mentioned a few weeks back that they might need a jigsaw puzzle engine and that they would need to swap out the image just by switching an external jpg. I have to admit this is not the first time this one has crossed my mind. I've wanted to build this for a long while and just never got around to it. Well, i guess, just being pissed that i wasn't doing anything, i forced myself to solve the problem.

...
I was up til 5 am with my nose in a director book. I actually came across a new set of commands that i didn't even realize that macromedia had snuck into the new newest version of director. All i want to do it load the jpg from an external location and then chop it into little picecs. NOT SQUARES. That's too fuckin simple and i've already done that! I want strange pices that actually look like jigsaw pieces. Well, i will end this rant by saying i got it. I am half way there and i have actually made pieces out of jpg. At first it took over 3 minutes to build them, then at about 4 am i found something that let me speed up the process. Now i have them building in about 2 seconds. I need to get back to the code now and finish the engine. I am going to try to have it live by then end of the day or tomorrow.
