I just was thinking about my last trip to europe. jen and I moved around a little in london, paris and a few other places. i don't know what made me think of it, but i just started thinkin about a dinner we had in paris. we were out by notre dame and after we had done the tourist shit, we started to look around a little. We went to dinner at a nice little place just south of the cathedral where we had a very good meal. While we were eating we listened to a group of 4 brits that DID NOT like americans at all. Their entire conversation consisted of, "fuckin piece of shit yanks don't drive bloody good cars, they could have electric cars years ago, but they fuck all". They sat there all night and bitched about how bad WE are. And fuck, i have to agree with them on a lot of points, but GAWD DAMN, there's a little too much PISSED OFF there. So i sat there and listened to EVERYTHING they had to say. I didn't say a thing back to them. I was VERY polite. I just tried to suck it all in and think about it. There were certain points they had. We do contribute to a SHITLOAD of the world garbage. There's just too fuckin many of us. We make a dumpload (literally) of trash. But here's the funny part. I sat there after i had finished my meal and lit up a smoke. I did feed the habit at the time. One of the guys that was sitting at the table next to us. The same table that had complained about americans the entire meal says, "pardon me, do you have a fag i could blow?" ... I respond, (in my very VERY characteristic California dialect) "Dude,... no problem.... I've got a smoke for ya" and pulled out my pack of Camel Lights. The guy looked at the smokes and realized that they were in fact IMPORT smokes. He pulled on out and lit it up. He looked at me almost like he wanted to apologize. I just sat there and was as polite as i could be. I remember his looks for the rest of the night. He could not figure me out. He thought that i would live up to his expectations of being a DUMBASS and try to yell at him. We i happen to agree with him on most of his points. I wasn't about to defend a bunch of stupid fucks that happend to live in the same country as me. So i think i sent a message. We're not ALL STUPID. There is a large number of americans that don't believe in the bullshit that Bush trys to dish out.

Ok now this leads to another rant.

I used to really like Tony Blair. But i dont know what happened. He's a labor party leager right? Where the fuck does he get off kissing George W's ass? That's just not right. I don't think that there is any motivation behind the UPCOMING war other than opportunity to tap into a HUGE oil supply. I just thought that Tony Blair had a little more integrity. Now some people are going to think that i'm being anti-UK, but that's not the case. I have NO respect for a single member of politics in the US. I can't name a single one of them who has shown their HONESTY. For a long time i respected Blair for they way he said things. A no bullshit attitude. But now it seems that Bush has fucked everything up. Bush has bought out Blair. Well you know the "endgame". The US bombs the shit out of (insert small country name here) and gets (insert valuable commodity here) to sell to the rest of the world. did you actually think that the government of the US was doing it to keep people safe? thats funny.
