Weekend was great. Lakers Won. BBQ at Will's was great as always. A bit of advise... don't take a picture of Will while he's watchin the game. So then yesterday, Will Steve and I went to Magic Mountain. Ok, time to bash Six Flags. Basic rollercoasters run trains quickly at about 1 train every 2 minutes. MOST normal coasters hold aboutt 25 to 30 people per train, so that means in an hour a well run coaster can have 750 to 900 people ride it in an hour. If you go to Magic Moutain, AVOID "X" if you notice that only one train is running. Its NOT WORTH IT. Magic Mountain for whatever reason yesterday only had one train running. The line was actually short for a normal coaster. What we realized when we finally get into the station, was that this thing takes 6 and a half minutes to complete one cycle. 6.5 minutes @ 28 people per round. We sat in that fuckin line for over 2 hours. After that ONE ride we were worried that we were not going to be able to go on ANY other rides cause the lines would be too long. What we found was that ALL the other coasters had lines shorter than 15 minutes.

So in the long run we got on all the rides that we wanted to and had a great time. Just wasted our time on the first line.

Actually, I don't mind if you take my picture during the game if the Lakers are winning. But trust me, its hard enough for me to watch important games like that in the presence of anyone because I'm usually so emotional with them when I'm alone. As for the line on X, I talked to a couple people about that today, and apparently that's SOP for that ride. A guy at work who has a season pass and goes a lot said that from what he's seen they ALWAYS have only one car running, and Grover said when he went that it was the same thing. His first question to me was "how long did you wait for X?" lol Oh well, live and learn.
