I'm broke just in case anybody cares. So i've hit rock bottom. Last week i took in the change jar. Jen and I
keep this old batter jar. Its HUGE. and when i cashed it in there was $250 in it. The only thing i have left from
it now is about 3 quid. So today i still need money. So i sold a bunch of old DVD's. Theres a great store on
Lake ave in Pasadena called Interact. The guys there are great and they gave me close to $200 for a bunch of
old DVD's that i am never going to watch. But while they were looking through all my junk i had the chance to
look at all the games they have there. One thing popped out. A game called Industry Giant II. I used to play
this old game called Transport Tycoon, but they never made a new version. I found a game a couple years back
called Railroad Tycoon, but it didn't come close. So i got Industry Giant II (it was only $15) and installed it. Its
EXACLTY what i've been looking for. I gotta spend some time playing it, but it looks like a great simulator.

Dave man, no offense but this is just begging to be made fun of. You can't open the entry by talking about how broke you are, how you've "hit rock bottom" and broke open the piggy bank, and then wrap up the entry talking about the new video games you just bought lol. Certainly food and utilities must be higher on the priority list than Transport Tycoon lol

By the way, "3 quid"? After cashing in the battery jar did you stop by a currency exchange or something? What is 3 pounds in dollars anyway, like $5 or something?

The little change machine i use at the Vons always sorts out all my european change.
So i end up with a handful of random stuff that ends up back in the jar for the next time
around.

Riggs, next time why don't you go straight to Cookie and sell him your DVDs. That way you won't be tempted at the checkout stand to get a game. I hear he's quite the wheeler and dealer too!

Jason, I "lol" in my comments not to say "gee, check out how funny I am, I crack myself up" I do it to say "I'm being lighthearted about this, don't get pissed at me thinking I'm being a prick." I'm doing it to convey tone of voice, since in text there is none. I'm not doing it to pat myself on the back. Same as using a smiley face doesn't mean "I've made myself smile" just that it means "I mean this in a nice way." Get it? :-)
