So i screwed around with a new copy of Norton Utilities for about an hour. I keep running into a error message every time i try to do anything with the disk. This has started to lead me to believe that its more than just data corruption. I think either the SCSI controller card has taken a dump or the drive itself is physically screwed. Well either way i am looking at recoding two client projects. One of em only took about 20 hours and I have much of the temple code that i'll need to rebuild it. The other project... I've got a version of the site from a few weeks ago, but the changes that i have made since then are substantial. I am not happy about having to redo all this code, but in the long run i think it will be a better piece of code. anyway the web cam is going to be down for awhile cause i used to serve it off of the server that just took a shit. Well at least i kept my contact database backed up on another mySQL database. Well after I am all done with this i am going to build a little cron module that will do automatic backups for me every night. Its just sad that i have multiple servers and I didn't do it earlier.
