I think the radio worked. The raccoons did not get much sleep yesterday. I burnt out one speaker that i had in the attic. It was this old boston acoustics computer speaker, and i had it plugged into a home stereo component, so... it lasted for a couple hours then got way too hot and the coil fused. So i quickly replaced it with a larger box speaker that could take the heat and cranked up the volume a little louder. I also took anther set of speakers and put them in the back bedroom and played another AM station that was just out of range. It would constantly go between a high pitch squeal and the S's of the people talking. So last night i saw momma raccoon very briefly and didn't hear much out of them again. Yesterday i'd hear them trying to move around to avoid the radio, but i've got the radio on now and i've not heard anything more.
