all work and no play makes dave a dull boy....

but

cable television makes dave a couch potato.

a little Joe Schmo Show and Queer Eye and the night has been wasted. Well not wasted. These two shows are honestly the only things on TV worth watching. After tonight i am going to turn the TV off for a few days due to all the 9-11 memorial RATINGS run. You can always depend on television networks to beat a dead dog until the last cent has been sucked out of it.

Well the Fighting Temptations Mixer went live today which made me VERY happy. I started the project before i left for Hawaii, and its finally DONE!!! I do have to admit it went together a lot better than i had expected, it just ended up taking a little longer.

Man, get some movie channels already! ;-) Even though I've never seen either of those shows, I really can't fathom how a bunch of guys telling us what designer clothes we need to wear or how to decorate our apartment is worthwhile television. To me that sounds like the WORST kind of media brainwashing that you'll find on TV. Maybe what I've heard about it is wrong, but it sounds a lot like a "watch our show to find out what the COOL people do so you can try to be cool like them" kind of show. Of course, I never flip away from the movies to find out, but then again I don't get inundated with 9/11 memorials either, so its probably a good trade-off :-)
