24 hours, 39 minutes, and 35.25 seconds; it is usually abbreviated as sol.
Sol 0 is the particular spacecraft's landing day"

So its now SOL 12 and the rover just sent back rear hazcam images showing the lander behind it. They successfully moved the rover .8 meters from the lander and now we wait another SOL before the majority of the images get transmitted. Well time to go to bed.
