So i got my sorry ass up at 7AM to make it to work on time. Got ready just fine, and got out the door. I made
it to the North Hollywood Metro station for the red line in about 30 minutes. So at this point its 8:30. I've still
got an hour to get into the office and i only need to go one stop on the Metro. IF I CAN ONLY FIND A PARKING
SPACE. So i drive around for 40 minutes trying to get parking. I even stumble across the 3 alternate parking
lots that there are no signs for. All of them are full. So now with 20 minutes left i've gotta make a decision. I
finally just give up and drive to the hollywood and highland parking lot. Parking is $10 max a day, so that
blows. So i ended up taking an hour and a half getting into the office. So guess what? I'm going back to the
other method. Gold Line to the Red Line to Hollywood and Highland. I know it will take me 1 hour and 20
minutes, but at least i won't have to deal with the bullshit of my car.

If you're going out that way, just take the 134 to Cahuenga, turn left on Cahuenga and after that merges with Lankershim (about maybe a mile) in about 2 blocks you'll be at the Universal station where there is an enormous parking lot and lots of spaces. Free parking for 24 hours. With traffic it would probably be about a half hour drive there, and then the train ride is about 5 minutes. Anyway, just a thought :-)

Ok so i was mistaken. I actually was at the Universal Station. There was NO PARKING
at all. There are actually a few lots there, including one across the freeway. All of em
were full, so i'm not even going to bother with the car.
