apple new releases

So as Steve Jobs gives his keynote, the geeks spread the word of all the new releases. People sitting in the keynote now are wirelessly connected to IRC channels, blog, newsgroups etc and going nuts about the new toys. So far the 30 inch cinema display has caught my attention. The new display runs up to 2560x1600! The power necessary to run that kind of rez has to come from a $600 Nvidia card with 2DVI connectors. The funny rumor i've already heard is that it ONLY works in a G5. I've got a feeling people will be buying more G5's just to get this kick ass display. And... Aluminum finish from what i hear.

There all kinds of rumors i've heard about software updates. I'm really hoping the RSS support in Safari is the real thing. Although i really love my NetNewsWire, i'll set it aside if Safari could take care of browsing and RSS management. Anyway... more to come soon as the rumors disappear and the real releases are made.
