Saturday was finally relaxing for once. we got up ate a little breakfast while listening to the airport express. I realized that my playlists are not well suited for "saturday lazy morning on the couch". So i've determined that i need to make a playlist along those lines. We then did something that is unheard of. We actually self-motivated and went to a movie. Usually it takes a act of God to get us out to the movies. But Jen really wanted to see Potter, so we finally dragged our asses out to see it. I may be going out on a limb here, but i thought it was the best of the movies so far. anyway, we headed home for a short while after the movie, then headed out again. This time to the LA Arboretum to see the LA Orchestral Philharmonic. They were playing selections of music all with a Bolero style. The seats that Jen's father acquired are honestly the best seats in the house. He was in the right place at the right time when a table was being put together. The people that share the table have a long history with Victor the director, and ended up getting the best of the best. The table literally is front and center. The seats we usually take at the table face away from the stage while we eat dinner. As the concert starts we turn them around and there is nothing but about 15 feet of grass between you and Victor directing the orchestra.
So today was really lazy. Jen and i finally slept in. We finally dragged our asses out of bed to get something to eat for lunch. Crown city brewery finally came down as the spot to eat. So a couple pints later we were full and happy. We then just sat at home watching TV and having a lazy day.
