windows update

So after an entire day of tinkering, i finally have gotten my windoze box back up and running. And its in a lot better shape that it originally was in. My old 40GB hard drive was getting really bad. I got a 200GB drive a couple weeks back, but never had gotten around to installing it until the box went blue unexpectedly today. So i managed to get the old drive to boot with the new drive installed. I quickly moved everything over that i wanted and yanked the old drive. The new drive then just needed a clean install of XP and a shitload of looking for drivers. So... that all done, the system is back up and running. Now i've got a record of EXACTLY when XP was truely installed clean. I'm going to calculate the half live of XP now. See how long it takes before it no longer functions properly and i've gotta install it again.
