Generally shitty weekend

I had a great night Friday night. Jen and I joined Jen's father and brother for dinner. He took up some place we'd never been
on Green street in pasadena. Maison Akira. Very very upscale, but incredible food. The service was unbelieveable. We actually
thought that they were working off a stopwatch. Every course was delivered more than 15 seconds behind the previous one.
Jen and her brother both had steaks, Jens father had fish (i can't remember what) and i had tuna. We all had a great time and
headed home early where Jen and I promptly passed out. We both woke up at about 1 and could not go back to sleep. I got
up and played video games til 4:30 and Jen read a book.
Saturday we didn't do anything. we just bummed around all day and were lazy.
Sunday we decided to find a new Deli in the area. We drove by one place that i located online, but they were closed. We headed to the Munch Company instead. I had located them online as well. Its a little place on mission a couple doors down from busters and the railroad tracks. Decent sandwiches, but nothing close to Anthony's. We took the food home and sat and ate. We tried to relax and be happy the rest of the night.

Wednesday October 6th 2004 01:44 PM PSTDid I miss the part in there where it was a shitty weekend? If decent sandwiches are all it takes to ruin your weekend, maybe you're expecting too much out of life ;-)

No kidding Dave. Was it the Dooly that was the bad part of the weekend? I thought by now you'd be used to all the shitty drivers in LA.
Try living in Iowa sometime - the old people out here go like 16 miles an hour, on the highway, which is a two laner, non-divided.
