The place has cleared out

We're not the only people left, but its very close. There were only a couple items on the menu tonight at the ranch house, but i didn't complain. Jen and I both had a great filet tonight for dinner and now were off to make a fire and play chess.

I was really suprised by the wines at Zaca Mesa. In the past few years their wines have been decent, but nothing that i've really liked. Today at the tastings, Jen and I both like a good number of the wines we tried. We ended up buying 6 bottles, and we're really going to enjoy all of them.

Next time we come up here we need to remember that there are picnic areas right around Zaca Mesa. We walked around after the tasting and got up to a ridge overlooking a beautiful view.

Tomorrow morning we've signed up for a morning horseback ride, and i think we're just going to relax and sit by the pool the rest of the day. The ranch room is close tomorrow, so we've got to go to dinner at a little place down the road. Valentine's should be interesting around here. We'll be the only people around.
