Holy shit dude...I dont know what to say. Well, actually I do. Permit me to be long winded here. First off, you and Jen are NOT out of line (you were questioning yourself in the "how it all started"). It really sounds like your mom has some serious emotional and mental issues--she really reminds me of my ex girlfriend--the psycho Jamie. She had(has?) Boderline Personality Disorder (Which is now called Emotional Intensity Disorder, just to make it sound nicer), but it sounds like your mom is displaying a LOT of the same behavior. And it sounds like your dad ... well this wont sound nice, but basically has no balls, and wont stick up for you or Jen. I dont know your parents at all--I met them once, and so I cant personally say anything about them aside from the impression you´ve given from your journal...but I think you know that the Bermingham side of the family thinks you are a fantastic guy, and we all love and care for you (and Jen, of course). You´re part of the Clan now, dude, and we´ll back you up 100%. That being said, we´re here for you...if you need our support--hell if you need MY support, in any way, let me know. I know that may sound silly, considering I´m in Spain, but sometimes just knowing there are people there for you helps a little. And hell, give my Love to Jen--I havent really talked with her since last summer at the wedding. So, what´s the conclusion of the story? Why the jury summons from your Dad? Fuck, this shit is so whack...I wish there was more for me to say man, but there isnt. Hang in there--I imagine it can only get better...but if it gets worse, at least you know 1/2 of your family is normal (well...relatively speaking...) Take care dude, and my love to you and Jen.
