So it seems the great state of Florida wants to track Sex Offenders for Life using GPS technology. Now this may or may not be a great idea, but there's one little problem. What happens when the government shuts off GPS tracking for emergency reasons? (back in December) from CNN "President Bush has ordered plans for temporarily disabling the U.S. network of global positioning satellites during a national crisis to prevent terrorists from using the navigational technology".

Can you imagine the situation now? The terrorist attack, the GPS system gets shut off, and then suddenly ALL the sex offenders attack. It could happen. We better prepare.
