Explosion

My office has had a small explosion occur. After learning the details of the pinewood derby at Ignited Minds next Friday, i started to scavenge parts from various junk boxes hidden all over my room. So now as a result i've got spare parts all over the floor, tools all over my desk, and enough cable everywhere to probably go around the earth once or twice. I'm torn on what power system to build, but there are a few good options. Electric would be very good, but i have to deal the wheels slipping on the track, and a remote trigger system (maybe an onboard trigger, who knows) Wind or Fan powered is another option, but i'm not sure what kind of thrust i can get quickly, and i'm back to the same issues with electric trigger systems. Then finally there is Compressed Air. Now this option is looking better and better, but i need to actually buy some parts to get the valve trigger to work. anyway, going to the drawing board literally.

I will not disclose the creative design of the car. That will be revealed on next Friday when it hits the track.
