Jury Duty Day One

So showed up at 7:45 at the court building and checked into the Jury Waiting room. Sat all mornning waiting. And waiting. Went to lunch at the LA Mall, and then came back to the Jury Room. Finally got called for a case at the end of the day. I've not oficially been placed on the jury, but i am a part of Panel 2. So i need to report back on Monday for further jury selection.

The train on the way to the court was the way to go. No traffic, and the court building i'm going to is a block away from the Civic Center stop on the red line. So i don't have to go in tomorrow, so that means back to work for me. I got a dumpload of deadlines to deal with, and i'm not going to miss any because of this. Looks like its going to be a long weekend. Keegs is in Iowa for a wedding, so i've picked up his workload as well. Should prove to be a whole lot of fun fun fun.
