So its just about 3 weeks (coming Saturday) since i dropped my g5 at Di-no computers. It took em 2 weeks to just take a look at the computer and tell me it was a blown power supply. Its funny looking back, cause i do recall telling them it was a blown power supply when i dropped it off. :) Actually, i talked to one girl even BEFORE i took the computer in. I said simply i need a new power supply, and her reply was, No problem, we'll order the part. Well when i finally got the diagnosis, they asked me if i wanted them to order the part. heheheheh. um... yes. Then their answer was, oh, it will be done in a day or two. I don't get a call back, and so i finally follow up (well actually this is about the 6th follow up total) This time around i finally get the story...

the part has not come in and its back ordered. We don't know when it will be in. Apple doens't really give us a in stock measurement, so we don't know whats what. we'll call you when we know more.

ok, so i guess i'm just screwed. Well i'm glad this is the first time i've had to take a computer in for a service since my Mac SE.
