I know I should have gotten on the road at 8:30 today

8:37AM **SIGALERT UPDATE**EB 210 TO SB 2 CONN / WB 210 TO SB 2 CONN / AND FOOTHILL ON RAMP TO SB 2**CLOSED FOR UNKNOWN DURATION DUE GLENDALE PD INVESTIGATION

So take all the 210 traffic that was going to go South on the 2 and dump it onto Verdugo, and Ocean View. I got 3 blocks from my house (still on a tiny residential street) and I hit gridlock. Very strange way to start the day. Just waiting for the SIGALERT to be lifted before I attempt to get on the road.

Apparently, the Glendale PD were conducting an investigation into the shooting and killing of a motorcyclist around 2 a.m. on the Glendale Freeway. News stations were telling people to jump over to Verdugo Rd. and pick up the Ventura Freeway off of that Rd.
